I have received numerous Reiki treatments, attended wellness workshops and meditation sessions. Through my learning of Reiki and breathwork I have spent hours meditating and being guided through those moments. When I deliver breathwork and some Reiki sessions I incorporate meditation. I hold the right amount of experience to be able to guide you through your own meditation sessions, talk you into your practice, hold you during it and ground you back into the room.
These sessions are for people who already meditate but seek some support and guidance. We can spend time talking through how you practice meditating, what you hope to gain from it, and how you want your time structured. I'm not here to teach you how to meditate, but I hold the skills to facilitate your practice, hold you safely and keep you focussed in the 'now' with calm, collected and professional delivery. Together we can work on improving the effectiveness of your meditation. I've recorded some of my thoughts in a 2 minute video below.
40 minutes total in the therapy room which includes a 15 minute chat about you and your meditation practice and how I can help facilitate, we then move into a 20 minute guided meditation leaving us with 5 minutes to summarise.

For me, meditation is time to pause. Not pause for thought, but just to pause. When describing it I like to compare my brain with a house. When I start, all the lights are on, the TV, radio, Alexa and Siri are all making noise, kids are tearing up the place and a muddy dog is running loopy round the house. In a guided meditation, the guide can help talk things down bit by bit - get a babysitter to take the kids out, clean the dog and settle it in bed, turn the electronics off and then slowly but surely turn the lights off one by one. Then you are left to settle and be in the quiet, and be in the now. With the aid of specific music to help the moment I can be me for 20 or 40 minutes. Then with help from the guide I can softly dim the lights back on to a level that's far more comfortable, ground myself, feel the floor and safely be back and ready to carry on my day. An immense amount of calm can stay with me for some time afterwards.
Here it means we chat together at the start to discover how you practice meditation already, discuss safely your current lifestyle along with any challenges you have or general noise you wish to quieten and what level of guidance you require during the meditation, e.g. how much interaction and grounding you require. We can then chat through improvements to practice if helpful.
No, my guidance is for people who already meditate (beginner or experienced) who are looking for some help refining their practice, some structure, timekeeping, intention setting and proper grounding following their session. You are the expert in what feels right to you, I am with you for support.
